As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, come hear from Stewart McLaurin, president of the White House Historical Association. A past and favorite Legacy League guest, Stewart leads the association’s important non-partisan work to preserve and provide public access to the rich history of America’s Executive Mansion.
An Alabama native, Stewart attended Shades Valley High School. He received the Â鶹ÊÓƵ of Alabama Distinguished Alumni Award in 2026. Host of the award-winning podcast The White House 1600 Sessions, Stewart is also a USA Today monthly columnist and author of several books.
The membership meeting will begin with refreshments and fellowship at 10:30 a.m., followed by the program, which will begin at 11:15 a.m. Save the date for now — reservations will open this fall.
