
Heidi Callighan is an assistant professor at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ and actively practices with vulnerable populations, particularly those experiencing homelessness. She earned her BSN and MSN from Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ and her PhD from William Carey Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. With 20 years of experience in nursing, Dr. Callighan has treated children and families with chronic and ongoing medical conditions. She coordinates the community health course in the undergraduate program. Through her nursing practice, Dr. Callighan teaches students to honor and add value to overlooked, underserved, and vulnerable community members, recognizing them as image-bearers of God.
