Joanna Bradley earned her undergraduate degree in Spanish and communications at Mars Hill Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, her MA in Comunicación Social at La Javeriana Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, Bogota, Colombia, and her PhD in foreign language education and applied linguistics at the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ of Texas at Austin.

She came to Samford from East Carolina Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, where she served as coordinator of lower division Spanish and taught both Spanish language and linguistics for 11 years. Prior to that appointment, she taught at Winston Salem State Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, Baylor Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ and Mary Hardin-Baylor Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, leading student groups in life-changing study abroad experiences.

Bradley and her husband, Don, enjoy anything related to music, especially if it involves their talented daughters, Julia and Erica.
