Anthony Overton came to Â鶹ÊÓƵ from Alabama A&M Â鶹ÊÓƵ, where he served for the previous three years as Professor and Chair of the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences. He served as Professor of Biology at East Carolina Â鶹ÊÓƵ from 2003-2014. Overton has published extensively in the field of fisheries and fisheries management and has served as principal investigator or co-investigator on ten different state and federal grant-funded research projects.
