Professor Joe Cory is a seasoned artist and educator who blends traditional and innovative teaching methods to help students acquire artistic skills and foster creative thinking. He loves to bring his curiosity and experience as an artist into the classroom and guide students towards meaningful careers. As an educator and practicing artist, he's gained extensive experience in all aspects of the art world. He exhibits his artwork across the country, and he frequently leads presentations and workshops on the creation and teaching of art.
Professor Cory holds an MFA from the Â鶹ÊÓƵ of Chicago, a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and a BA from Central College in Iowa. Beyond his professional pursuits, he enjoys reading, following sports, and spending time with his family.
