Kyle W. Outlaw is an assistant professor of accounting in Â鶹ÊÓƵ's Brock School of Business where he teaches financial accounting courses. His research interests are primarily in the area of auditing. Outlaw taught accounting courses at Arkansas State Â鶹ÊÓƵ, the Â鶹ÊÓƵ of Mississippi and Mississippi State Â鶹ÊÓƵ prior to joining Samford.   

Outlaw is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed by the State of Arkansas. He received his Ph.D. in Accounting from the Â鶹ÊÓƵ of Mississippi in 2023. He received a B.S. in Accounting and an M.B.A. from Arkansas State Â鶹ÊÓƵ in 2014 and 2016, respectively. Prior to entering academia, Outlaw worked in public accounting for two years in Little Rock, Arkansas.
