Dr. Erin Gilchrist has served as professor of secondary curriculum and instruction at Samford since fall 2014. She has eight years of educational experience teaching art, literature and writing in middle school. She has taught qualitative research at the Â鶹ÊÓƵ of Alabama and enjoys writing and rich qualitative-style research. Dr. Gilchrist says she loves learning and being around others doing the same. She says her motivation each day is rooted in the idea that she can inspire someone to love writing and teaching just as much as she does.
