Fulbright Muslim scholar Saban Ali Duzgun of the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ of Ankara, Turkey, will speak at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Tuesday, Nov. 6, at 3 p.m. in Brooks Hall 134. His topic will be "Globalization, Minority Groups, and Religious Pluralism."

A theology professor, Dr. Duzgun serves as editor of the online Journal of Theological Research and associate editor of the Periodical of Divinity Faculty at the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ of Ankara.

He lectured at Gregorian Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ in Rome, Italy, during 1999-2000 and was a visiting fellow at Woodstock Theological Center of Georgetown Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, Washington, D.C., during 2003-2004. He holds bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees from Ankara.

Duzgun's lecture is part of the 10th anniversary celebration of Samford's core curriculum.
