Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ School of Performing Arts will host guest artists Joel Treybig and Robert Marler, assisted by Katie Harrah, in recital Thursday, Oct. 4, at 7:30 p.m. in Brock Recital Hall.

Trumpet and cornet player Treybig and pianist Marler are on the music faculty at Belmont Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ School of Music, Nashville, Tenn. Both are active soloists, as well as chamber and orchestral musicians. A proponent of chamber music for trumpet, Dr. Treybig has published numerous chamber arrangements.

Trumpeter Harrah is a graduate student at Belmont, where she is pursuing a master of music degree in trumpet performance.

The program will include Jean-Baptiste Loeillet's "Concerto in D," Stanley Friedman's "Solus," Henri Challan's "Variations," Alexander Arutiunian's "Concert Scherzo," Meg Bowles' "Night Sun Journey," Marc Delmas' "Variation Tendre," Joseph-Edouard Barat's "Fantasie en mi bemol," and Theodor Hoch's "Northern Fantasia, Op. 20."

The public is invited free of charge.
