Don Bogen, award-winning author of four books of poetry, will lead off this year’s Â鶹ÊÓƵ Visiting Writers series Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 7 p.m. in Divinity Hall N302. Bogen spent last spring at the Seamus Heaney Poetry Centre of Queen’s Â鶹ÊÓƵ, Belfast, as Fulbright Distinguished Scholar in Creative Writing.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý ÌýWinner of the Emily Dickinson Award of the Poetry Society of America, he is Nathaniel Ropes Professor of English and Comparative Literature at the Â鶹ÊÓƵ of Cincinnati.

ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý * Feb. 13, Michael Kardos, author of a story collection, two books and other short stories.Ìý He codirects the creative writing program at Mississippi State Â鶹ÊÓƵ.
