The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ basketball team suffered its second loss to the UNCG Spartans in eight days Friday as the Bulldogs dropped an 81-76 decision in the opening round of the Southern Conference Tournament held at the U.S. Cellular Center. The loss ended Samford's 2014-15 season.

The Furman women's basketball team shot 57.5 percent from the floor, while holding Samford to 36.7 percent as the Paladins eliminated the Bulldogs from the Southern Conference Tournament, 65-54, Thursday afternoon at Kimmel Arena.
