Angela (Dee) R. Thomason currently serves as a professor at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, McWhorter School of Pharmacy with focus responsibilities in interprofessional education and general medicine advance pharmacy practice experience as a clinical pharmacist specialist at Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital at Lakeshore. Over the past several years, she has held various leadership positions within the Experiential Education, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ and School with responsibilities related to pharmacy students’ early practice experiences in community and health-system settings, preceptor development, faculty leadership and interprofessional education. Angela also practices as a clinical pharmacy specialist at a local health-system participating in various clinical pharmacy services such as internal medicine, anticoagulation, and transitions of care. Her pharmacy experiences over her career have encompassed a variety of clinical settings with direct patient care services within federal, community and academic health-systems. Angela received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ and completed an ASHP-accredited Specialty Primary Care Pharmacy Practice residency. She continues to serve ASHP and Alabama state affiliate of ASHP with various leadership roles.
